Jupiter Jetson

Jupiter Jetson’s life has certainly been an adventure. In her early 20s she worked as a dominatrix, and then made a lucrative living as a musician, singing and playing guitar in Germany. She’s also been one of the top-rated models and legal sex workers at Sheri’s Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada.

In 2020, the stunning red head made the leap into Indie porn, which paid off with an AVN Awards nomination for Best Fetish Series for her work in “East Bay Brats,” in which she starred in as well as co-produced. A year later, she made her mainstream adult debut with her first shoot for MYLF.com. She’s also recently signed with adult talent agency Nexxxt Level where her online portfolio can be viewed.

In addition to her adult performances Jetson and her sultry vocals can be heard on her latest EP of original music on Spotify.

I recently spoke with Jetson about her career in the adult industry, her music, and more in this exclusive new interview.

First off, I have to ask you how you came up with your name, Jupiter Jetson. What’s the story behind it?

Jupiter Jetson: I’ve always been a big space nerd. Even as a kid, one of my favorite shows growing up was “Nova” on PBS. I really wanted my name to be catchy, and Jupiter Jetson really rolls off the tongue.

What would you say is the most challenging part about being in the adult industry?

JJ: I don’t know about challenging but I will say it takes some time getting used to being aware of where the camera is at, and making sure that you don’t unintentionally look at it. I’ve been very lucky because everyone I’ve worked with has made my life as a performer very easy.

What are your thoughts on all the “pearl clutching” people who outwardly condemn the adult industry but are secretly engaged in viewing it behind the scenes?

JJ: It’s not just one kind of person. People of all stripes have been buying into the propaganda of what happens in the sex industry. We live in a society that always needs to have a collective problem to fight, like the war on drugs or satanic panic. There always has to be a collective scapegoat for people to focus on, and right now it’s sex among consenting adults.

What’s a typical day like on set?

JJ: It differs from company to company. On average a standard day would start with a morning call time. You spend about an hour and a half in hair and makeup and then you fill out paperwork and do your checks in interviews. At a certain point, everyone goes over consent lists and the yes and no of what you will and won’t do. A lot of time, there’s table reads and rehearsals but on a much quicker schedule. Think of it more like “Saturday Night Live” than a Broadway play [laughs]. Then we go from there. It’s a movie in a day.

If you didn’t have a career in porn what would do you think you’d be doing?

JJ: I’d probably still be a harlot. A friend of mine once asked me what I would do if I won the lottery. I said, “Well, I’d just be a higher-level harlot, producing porn [laughs].” Seriously, I’d probably still be doing the exact same thing I’m currently doing — hot girl stuff and making music. I always say this because it’s true. It’s kind like what nuns resonate with: It’s a calling, only sluttier [laughs].

Do you ever see yourself getting behind the camera at some point?

JJ: I’d love to. This field attracts a lot of artsy types and I’m definitely one of them. I love the creative aspect of it, for sure.

You spend time working a Sheri’s Ranch. To someone who might not be familiar with a legal brothel, how would you describe it?

JJ: It’s a much more open, bright, and transparent environment than most people expect. A lot of people’s experiences with legal sex work tends to either be through porn performers they never interact with, like OnlyFans, or strip clubs where the name of the game is a bit of good-natured deception. The brothel is the exact opposite of that. We strive on transparency. People have this idea of it being a dark, raunchy, and rowdy place. We have crystal chandeliers and white damask couches. It’s a very different establishment than what you saw on HBO’s “Cat House.” We’re the only luxury resort brothel in Nevada.

Are there any projects you’re currently working on?

JJ: I recently signed with a new agent, so I’ll have a lot of fun, exciting scenes coming my way. I also launched my Porn Hub channel with versions of my collaborations with Will Tile and will have more videos coming shortly. My EP being available is also very exciting. I’ll be going back into the studio later this year to do some more recording.

What’s the biggest thing you’ve learned about yourself, either in the industry or in life?

JJ: I got to see first hand the undervaluing of the artist, so the biggest thing I’ve learned that carries across all industries is the importance of knowing your worth. That’s the best way I can say it. I think I’ve developed a sense of my own worth in terms of time and my level of expertise.

What excites you the most about this next phase of your career? What are you most looking forward to about the future?

JJ: I’m looking forward to everything. I’ve spent most of my adult life chasing different avenues where I can combine all of the things I love to do, like performing, meeting new people, being super slutty, making lots of music., getting to do something different every day. I’m looking forward to a whole lot more of that.
